Your Microsoft 365 subscription still needs someone to manage it.

Shared mailboxes, departed employees, file permissions, and license renewals are easy to lose track of. We give these jobs an owner and document the decisions, so your setup stays understandable as your business changes.

Microsoft 365 and Office 365 support.

If a team keeps emailing different copies of the same document, the answer may be a better shared-file arrangement rather than another subscription. We help choose appropriate Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive locations, organize approved access and help employees use the arrangement. The business decides who owns the work and who may share it outside the company.

Email and collaboration

Administration and support for business email, shared mailboxes, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint.

We also review spam and phishing controls, quarantined messages, and mail-delivery issues; available protections depend on your licenses and configuration.

Accounts and permissions

New-user setup, offboarding, multifactor authentication, access reviews, and permissions built around each person’s role. See how MFA, SSO, and Conditional Access fit together.

Migrations and changes

We plan email and data moves around your users, existing systems, timing, dependencies, and the business impact of the change.

Licensing and data protection

We review license needs and coordinate backup and recovery requirements so you know what your subscriptions cover and what needs additional protection.

Support as people join, leave or change the way they work.

Microsoft 365 needs to keep up with your team. We help with day-to-day changes as well as larger moves, with the business approving who can access its information.

New employees ready to work

We prepare approved accounts, licenses, shared mailboxes and team-folder access for new starters. Staff have a support contact for email, meetings and file-sharing problems instead of relying on a colleague to fix the setup.

Company information stays with the business

When someone leaves, we help remove access and transfer ongoing responsibilities. Mailboxes, shared files and application dependencies are considered together so the next employee can continue the work.

Removing access and retaining records are different tasks. We explain the available options before changing an account or license.

A migration that fits your schedule

For a move into Microsoft 365, we plan around users, shared mailboxes, calendars, data and connected business applications. The proposal explains the change window, licensing, backup requirements and cleanup work.

A usable result for your staff

After agreed changes, we check that staff can reach the email, calendars and files they need. Any remaining application-provider work is identified, with a clear next step rather than an unexplained handoff.

Make Microsoft 365 licensing easier to understand.

A growing collection of subscriptions can be difficult to explain when different employees joined at different times. We review the plans assigned to your staff against the applications, security features and working arrangements they actually need. The aim is a subscription arrangement you can understand and maintain.

An office employee using desktop applications may have different requirements from someone who only needs a particular shared workflow. Features, eligibility and account arrangements need to be checked before a license is removed or changed. We explain the options and any effect on access or retained information, rather than assuming that the lowest subscription price is the right answer.

Your proposal separates Microsoft subscription charges from administration, employee support and project work. It should also explain what happens when you add a person, change their role or need a capability outside the current plan. That makes future changes easier to budget for.

Keep control of your Microsoft 365 setup when providers change.

Hiring a different IT company should begin with understanding the Microsoft 365 organization you already have. We review who manages its administration, subscriptions, domain and connected applications. That helps identify missing access before a handover becomes an urgent problem.

For example, a shared mailbox may receive customer requests while a separate application sends invoices through the same email setup. A provider change needs to account for both. Moving or deleting a familiar mailbox without understanding those connections can interrupt work that nobody intended to change.

We agree on the access DreamMSP needs and how the previous provider's responsibilities will end. Your business retains control over approved administrators and who can authorize changes. If a separate organization or reseller controls part of the arrangement, we identify what their cooperation is needed for.

Our switching IT providers guide covers the broader handover. For Microsoft 365 specifically, the first discussion can start with your current provider, approximate mailbox count, subscriptions and the email or file-sharing problems your staff are experiencing.

Questions about Microsoft 365 support for Long Island businesses.

Have a question about your own setup? Talk with Charles.

Can we hire you for a Microsoft 365 project?

Yes. We can discuss a migration, permissions cleanup, staff change, or a specific email problem as a defined project. The proposal identifies the work, required access, schedule, licenses, and how we will check the result.

Can you move us from another email provider?

We can review the current service, mailboxes, shared information and the way staff use email, then agree a migration project. The plan needs to explain what will move, what stays available during the change and who helps employees afterward. Existing subscriptions, retained records and work handled by another provider are settled before the move is scheduled.

Do you help with SharePoint and OneDrive permissions?

Yes. Tell us who needs to work with which files, including any outside collaborators. We help organize access around those business decisions and investigate situations where staff cannot reach a document or information has been shared too widely. Your organization approves access; moving folders or changing permissions should have a clear reason and an agreed effect on the people using them.

Is Microsoft 365 the same as a backup?

No. Keeping Microsoft 365 available, synchronizing files and recovering an earlier version are different jobs. The built-in options may help with a particular loss, but you still need to understand what can be recovered, how far back it goes and who can restore it. Our Microsoft 365 backup guide explains the choices before you decide whether additional backup is needed.

Do you provide Office 365 support as well as Microsoft 365 support?

Many businesses still call their email and Office subscription Office 365. Tell us which plan and applications you use. We can discuss support for business email, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive, with the available features and responsibilities confirmed for your actual subscription.

Does our Microsoft 365 subscription include an IT company to help our employees?

Buying a software subscription and arranging day-to-day IT support are separate decisions. We can help staff with the supported accounts, email and shared files, and handle agreed administration as people join or leave. Your proposal separates our service charge from Microsoft licenses and any migration project.
