A note from Charles · Founded 2025

You should understand the advice you’re given.

I started DreamMSP to give business owners a direct relationship with the person responsible for their IT. When something keeps going wrong, you should be able to explain it in your own words and get an answer you can use.

I enjoy getting to the bottom of a problem and explaining what I found. Sometimes that means fixing a recurring fault. Sometimes it means helping you decide whether to replace equipment, change providers or leave a working system alone.

DreamMSP is based in Calverton. I work with businesses across Suffolk County, helping their people get the support they need and their owners make informed decisions.

What you can expect from us.

The tools matter, but so does the way the work is handled.

Start with the business problem

Our first conversation can begin with the issue already on your mind: a recurring interruption, a confusing proposal, a change in staff, or uncertainty about current support. You do not need a technical specification to get started.

Make decisions with context

Before you approve a purchase or a longer-term support arrangement, you should understand what the change addresses, how urgent it is, what it depends on, and where it fits in the budget.

Know who owns what

Clear responsibilities make support easier to manage. We discuss coverage, escalation, onsite arrangements, and the business control of important accounts, subscriptions, and records before onboarding.

Keep the useful details available

A supported environment changes over time. Current documentation and an organized record of the work help keep routine support, vendor coordination, and future decisions from starting over.

Support that fits the people doing the work.

We work with small and midsize businesses with 5–200 computers. The first conversation starts with how your staff work, what keeps interrupting them and what you want to improve.

If you need a company to look after day-to-day IT, explore our managed IT services. If you already have an IT person or team, co-managed IT support can give them additional help.

Bring an approximate computer count and the questions already on your mind. You can use the SMB IT checklist to prepare, but you do not need a technical specification to talk with us.
